Events & Activities

Staying active is the key to a long and healthy life. That’s why The Paragon staff encourages residents to plan daily activities they will enjoy or to join in one of the fun programs planned by our Events Coordinator.

We offer a variety of recreational, educational, social, spiritual and cultural activities. You can discuss current events in the Dogwood Room or take a walk with a friend in our courtyard. You are also welcome to join other residents on regular outings in The Paragon’s 14-passenger bus for trips around town, including programs offered at the nearby Glema Mahr Center for the Arts or Madisonville Community College. A complete list of the monthly activities and outings appears in The Paragon’s newsletter and monthly calendar. Special bulletins may also be posted to remind residents of special events, activities and outings.

The Styling Salon is available to all residents at a competitive rate. Also for the convenience of our residents, the General Store stocks a variety of merchandise including light bulbs, toiletries, snacks and soft drinks which are available for purchase in the activity room.
